What is Ptak Prize Case Competition

Do you and your friends or colleagues have what it takes to compete against the best and brightest young business professionals and students in the world? 

The Ptak Prize Global Case Competition will bring together students and young professionals from around the world to compete for the chance to win the title of Ptak Prize Global Supply Chain Case Competition winner and cash prizes.

The regional and final rounds are all online so participants can enter from any part of the world. They consist of a Harvard Business Review Type case related to a supply chain problem of a company. Participants will be required to create a presentation and present to our panel of judges/create a video of them doing so. Winning teams will qualify to go into a country level round or directly to the Global round in December 2015 to be eligible to win the grand prize

When and how to Register

There will be several regional qualifier rounds which teams can participate in directly. Note: Inorder to register the participants have to be SCNext members and will have to login with their details to be allowed to register. In addition to the regional rounds, in some countries, we do hold university specific rounds or city/country specific rounds which can be found on our event calendar. If you don’t find one, you can participate in some of the regional rounds. The top teams will then qualify to participate on December 6th, for the global case competition online. All qualifying teams will be invited and the final competition can be participated in online.

Who can participate in this competition

SCNext members are eligible to participate in this competition for FREE. We encourage all university students and young business professionals around the world to participate in this global case competition

Qualifier Rounds

July 20 2016 - North America Qualifier Operated out of Chicago, USA. 

Sep 22nd 2016- China & Hong Kong Qualifier Operated out of Hong Kong. 

Sep 30th 2016- Pakistan Qualifier Operated out of Karachi. 

Oct 4th 2016 Middle East Qualifier Operated out of Dubai, UAE. 

Oct 11th 2016- Latin America Qualifier Operated out of Bogota, Colombia. 

Oct 18th 2016- Europe Qualifier Operated out of London, England. 

Nov20th 2016- Asia Qualifier Operated out of Mumbai, India.

Final Global Round

Dec 10th 2016- Final Global Round to be held online with winning teams from each region. Instructions will be sent out via email to all qualifying teams from regional rounds. Click here to see the event. Note this is an invitation only event and requires teams to pass through qualifier rounds held in the different regions. Registration for this event is hence disabled
