Ptak Prize Case Competition 2018 - Final Round
Do you and two/three of your friends or colleagues have what it takes to compete against the best and brightest young business professionals and students in the world?
The Ptak Prize Global Case Competition will bring together students and young professionals from around the world to compete for the chance to win the title of Ptak Prize Global Supply Chain Case Competition winner and cash prizes.
This is the qualifier round for the final global case competition online in December. Winning teams will advance to the final round and a chance to win a 1000 USD and free Certified Supply Chain Analyst- CSCA/ Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt- CLSSYB certifications from ISCEA
Round 1- Regional Case Competition
How this works:
Teams will register as a group for this event. Groups can be a maximum of 4 participants and a minimum of 3. All group participants need to be members of SCNext and one person from the group can register the team. Note: Only one registration per team
On the event day, participants will be emailed the business case and will have 1 week to work on it. Each group needs to identify the issues, solve the case, create a PPT/PDF and a video presenting the solution as if to a panel of judges. This PPT and video needs to be emailed back to SCNext Team (or uploaded on Youtube and link shared). Detailed Instructions will be in the email participants get along with the case
Teams are not required to create a certain amount of slides or papers, but must use their best judgment to create a presentation that is effective and persuasive. YouTube Clips of their presentation get additional points!! Each video presentation should be a maximum of 20 minutes in length and all team members will have to be involved in the video presenting parts of the solution
Judges will evaluate team presentations based on the quality of these areas: analysis, presentation, Q&A, and overall performance. Each regions panel of judges will be comprised of experienced academic and business professionals.
Winners will be announced within two weeks of receiving the solutions and will be informed through email
Round 2- International Case Competition
Qualifying top 4 teams from Round 1 will go on to the final global competition representing North America to be held on December 8th. The format of Round 2 will be the same as Round 1 except that the participants will be competing on an international stage with some of the best professionals across the globe. This competition will be online
