Ptak Prize Case Competition Reception
Carol Ptak, former President of APICS International and noted Supply Chain Management author, will be presenting “Demand Driven MRP” at Colorado State University’s College of Business. Coral Ptak’s expertise is well grounded in practical experience as a successful practitioner, consultant and educator in manufacturing operations. Her approach to complex issues and dynamic presentation style has her in high demand worldwide on the subject of how to leverage these tools. Carol Ptak is the Past President and CEO of APICS, The Educational Society for Resource Management. Most recently, Carol Ptak co-founded The Demand Driven Institute (DDI) and co-authored the Orlicky’s Material Requirements Planning, Third Revised Edition in order to proliferate and further develop demand driven strategy and tactics in industry. Carol Ptak will also be presenting Team RamBiz their award for the 2013 Ptak Prize Global Case Competition Winners. Team RamBiz is comprised of four Colorado State University Supply Chain Management students, Kaylynn Assmussen, Angelina Howard, John Jacobs, and Kandis Laponte. The Ptak Prize for Supply Chain Excellence is awarded to organizations in recognition of significant improvements made through Vision, Business Rules, and Technology. Students who have received the CSCA will also be recognized at this event. This event will be on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 5:30 – 7:45 pm with networking and a chance to meet Carol Ptak from 7:45 – 8:30 pm. Registration will begin at 5:00 pm.
