SCNext USA held the Ptak Prize reception for the global case competition winners from Colorado State University (CSU) for the year 2013.
The Ptak prize case competition was hosted by SCNext in 2013. Over 100+ teams from 10 countries participated in this event with multiple rounds leading to the final global round held in December 2013 and the winning team was from the US-Colorado State University
Carol Ptak traveled to Colorado State University (CSU) to present the Ptak Prize Global Case Competition winners with their prize. There were over 100 students and professionals in attendance. Team RamBiz from CSU won the global case competition in December of 2013. The team was comprised of four SCNext student members. CSU students learned of the case competition when SCNext visited their campus in September. Teams must be SCNext members to compete in the competition.
The agenda for the evening included presentations about SCNext, alumni experiences with ISCEA certifications, recognition of ISCEA certified individuals, Team RamBiz awards presentation, an in-depth analysis of the winning teams competition submission, and, most notable, Carol Ptak’s presentation on Demand Driven MRP.
Each member of Team RamBiz was presented with the title of Ptak Scholar, a $1000 check, a medal for their achievement, and coffee mug. The team members can now place “Ptak scholar” on their resume and use the experience as a valuable interview tool. Following the presentations, there was a networking reception where students and professionals were given the chance to meet each other and Carol Ptak. Food and beverages were provided for those in attendance
