SCNext India had come to an agreement with IIM Lucknow to support their supply chain and operations event "Trilogy" which is the flagship inter b-school operations challenge organized by the Operations Interest Group (OIG) of IIM Lucknow. This inter b-school challenege was conducted over three rounds from 14th November to 25th November 2013
The event saw participation from over 330 teams representing top 25 b-schools across the country including all IIM's. The first round was an online operations management quiz from which the top 30 teams were promoted to the second round. The second round was an online simulation based game on project management which pitted the top ops brains across the country against each other
The top 10 teams qualified for the third round in which the teams were required to analyze a case based on Supply Chain provided by SCNext. The teams were given a period of 1 week to turn in their entries. The submitted entries were evaluated by an eminent panel of judges by SCNext. The top 2 teams were awarded not only with prize money but also with wild card entries to the prestigious Ptak Prize case competition, an annual global case competition conducted by SCNext and ISCEA. The members of these teams were also awarded free membership of SCNext for 1 year.
Events like these allow supply chain students to hone their skills while presenting to a panel of experienced industry mentors. SCNext is proud to partner with IIM-Lucknow, one of the premier institutes in India to help support the supply chain industry in India by developing a talented young workforce.
